WISCONSIN - In response to new regulations and goals included in The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (The Act) and more stringent emission standards and goals adopted by the State of California, Centron Energy Corporation announced its patented technology for gasoline and diesel fuel additives that reduce emissions, increase fuel mileage and reduce vehicle operating costs. Centron fuel treatments are cold blends of environmentally safe, readily available and biodegradable chemicals and have been approved for use by the EPA and the California Resource Board (CARB).
The Act is projected to save American consumers and businesses more than $400 billion through 2030 and will reduce energy consumption by 7% and greenhouse gas emissions by 9%. Through 300 million miles of customer testing, Centron fuel additives have increased fuel economy by an average of 15%. Significant reductions in carbon monoxide (over 40%), hydrocarbon emissions (over 50%), and nitrous oxide emissions (over 20%) were also reported. Centron works by removing corrosive deposits from the fuel system, improving combustion, preventing rust and algae by removing moisture from the fuel lines and tank, and reducing surface tension, thereby increasing performance.
"Centron helps our customers to meet tomorrow's goals for emission reduction and energy conservation today," said Ken Klein, Senior Vice President of Sales at Centron. "Whether gasoline or diesel, at the refinery, bulk plant, or individual engine: just pour it in and you're there!"
Ron Likas, President, agreed, "We are excited about the contribution Centron can make to ease the transition that so many companies will have to make to meet or exceed goals. Just using our product will put companies on track without their having to undergo expensive changes in infrastructure or operations."
